Marketing and Communications Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare marketing status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing analytics on marketing and campaigns from including Marketo/Salesforce, SEO, Oktopost, Cision and Bright Talk. Works with team to produce regular updates and maintain KPIs.
  • Responsible for media coverage collection and reporting using Cision
  • Assists with the trade show and event program, maintaining website and assisting with presentation planning and procurement.
  • Contributes to two newsletters, putting together copy and graphics.
  • Works with Uptime Institute Intelligence to regularly edit and post blog content
  • Maintains global media list
  • Updates and maintains the global marketing calendar
  • Edits and proof checks collaterals and other marketing content and keeps track of versions in Marketing folders for sales team to ensure they have all the most recent collaterals and other materials.
  • Assists with translation requirements for marketing content, working with vendors
  • Supports the Uptime Institute webinar program, learning the Bright Talk platform, gathering data and content as needed, assisting speakers, including production/editing of presentations
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explores opportunities to continuously add value to job accomplishments.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Knowledge and some working experience in digital marketing, Marketo or related products a plus
  • Work with email templates, social media and/or display advertising campaigns preferred, experience with SEO/SEM efforts a plus.
  • Project management and/or traffic management experience – with examples of size and scope of projects previously worked on.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Working knowledge of HTML beneficial
